Fun Story: Rebecca Solnit, a favorite author of mine, joins chained-together-demonstrators for a cookie outside of Bank of America. The teacher, in yellow, is fed a cookie from one of her two daughters on the right, whom, coincidentally I’d —
— met the previous day at a Trader Joe’s in Berkeley. So… Bay Area… small place… if you frequent Trader Joe’s and Occupy events, at least.
The photo was taken at 10AM where the chained demonstrators remained until 5PM. This was outside Bank of America at Montgomery and California St. in San Francisco during the rainy morning of 1/20/2012, a day of action organizers dubbed “Occupy Wall Street West.”
